Strategic Alignment Expert | Executive & Business Advisor | Keynote Speaker
From Experience to Insight
For more than 20 years, I worked in executive leadership. That’s more than 40,000 hours transforming high-value organisations across the US and Australia. And the one lesson that stood out above all others? Most organisations don’t recognise when they have an alignment problem.
What they notice is that growth just feels harder than it should. Decisions take too long. Priorities are competing. Teams are working harder, but the outcomes just aren’t compounding in the way they once did. But most organisations see this as a strategy issue, or a performance gap, when really it’s something deeper.
That’s what brought me to my work.
Today I’m no longer acting as a CEO. Instead, as a strategic alignment expert and business consultant I'm [passionately]focused on closing the gap between ambition and capacity.
With two decades in executive leadership leading and transforming organisations, I’ve seen these patterns play out repeatedly. Growth introduces complexity, complexity creates friction and friction slows what should be working. My work focuses on rebuilding alignment across identity, strategy and execution so organisations can operate with and as coherent systems rather than a collection of moving parts.
Why Alignment Became the Work
This work didn't begin in a boardroom. It began with a personal decision – one that changed everything.
In the early 2010s, I had what most would define as success: a high-powered career, two CEO titles, global teams and successful exits in both the US and Australia. I'd built a reputation for transforming businesses by scaling revenue, strengthening brands and leading high-value organisations through strategic and cultural change.
I could step into almost any organisation, understand it quickly and drive results. Different industries, different models, different teams, but the same outcomes because I'd been a barista who didn't drink coffee, the CEO of Dictionary.com without being a logophile and the CEO of a teaching website without being a teacher. I could adopt any mission, execute any strategy and scale almost anything.
From the outside, it looked like capability, but from the inside, something wasn’t holding.I was operating effectively, but not coherently. The work scaled and the results followed, but the system underneath it wasn’t aligned. Over time, that misalignment became harder to ignore. Decisions required more effort, momentum relied on constant intervention and the cost, while not always visible, was cumulative. Behind the scenes, I was overextended, misaligned and living a life that looked impressive but didn't feel true.
Eventually, I reached a point where continuing on that path no longer made sense. I stepped away, not to slow down, but to rebuild from a different foundation.
I walked away from a CEO role. I sold my house. I left what everyone else saw as success.
And I bet everything on alignment.
The Leap that Changed Everything
When I chose this work of alignment, it was the first time I said: this work is mine. Across different roles, industries and stages of scale, the same truth kept emerging. Alignment is what allows organisations to grow without strain and operate without constant correction.
I took everything I had learned from leading, scaling and exiting businesses and translated it into a structured approach. Not as a philosophy, but as a system that connects identity, strategy and execution into a coherent way of operating.
That work became the framework – The 3 Transformations of Alignment – designed to help organisations move from fragmented effort to integrated performance, where momentum holds and value compounds over time.
Alignment is the Architecture
Most leadership approaches focus on improving individual capability. My work focuses on the system leaders are operating within, because leadership can only be as effective as the environment it sits inside.
I work with CEOs, leadership teams and organisations to align identity, strategy and execution so the organisation can function as an integrated whole. When those elements reinforce each other, performance is no longer dependent on effort alone – instead, it becomes structural.
As a business consultant and advisor and a strategic alignment expert, I help leaders bring alignment to life, without adding more layers or initiatives, but by removing friction, strengthening what matters and building the conditions for consistent performance and long-term growth.
Why this Work Matters
If you trace my work back to its source, it begins long before my career. I grew up in a house full of grief, ruled by a scarcity mindset. I am a woman who has spent her whole life breaking out of boxes. My children are descendants of slaves, and I carry the weight – and the strength – of that history with me.
So, when I talk about alignment, I’m not just talking about mindset. I’m talking about creating systems that really do the hard work – that expand capacity and support what people and organisations are capable of becoming. Because for me, alignment isn't just strategy. It's generational.
It's rewriting the story I was born into. Building systems of reciprocity that lift not only the leaders and organisations I work with, but me and my children too.
Alignment, for me, isn't just professional – it's personal. It's purpose in motion.
It's how I build the kind of legacy I want to leave: one defined by insight, impact and integrity. Choosing this purpose is my way of breaking the cycle I grew up in and building a different future for my three sons: one grounded in capability, expanse and growth.
My Work Today
Today, I partner with CEOs, executives, leaders and organisations who are navigating growth, complexity and transformation. These are ogranisations who have already built something real but feel the limits of how it currently operates.
Through strategic advisory work, facilitated workshops and keynote speaking, I help them identify where alignment is breaking down and rebuild it as a system that can support their drive to scale.
My value is in bringing the perspective of someone who has led at the level, and the discipline to translate that experience into practical, structural change.
Because alignment doesn't just change how an organisation operates. It changes what is becomes capable of.
Start the Conversation
If something in your organisation isn’t working the way that it should, it’s often a signal that alignment is breaking down somewhere in the system. And perhaps it’s time to start the conversation.
I partner with CEOs, leadership teams and organisations across Australia and globally to identify where misalignment is limiting performance and rebuild across identity, strategy and structure. The goal is to build an organisation that can grow with consistency and without losing the end goals.
If you're ready to look beneath the surface and address what’s actually driving the friction, reach out. Let’s explore how I can support your next chapter of growth.
